Areas of Intervention
ADULTS
DISORDERS TREATED
In life, we all inevitably face moments of difficulty. These periods can be emotionally and mentally challenging, leading to experiences of emotional breakdown and discomfort.
Symptoms can manifest in various ways, affecting our overall well-being and our ability to cope with daily challenges. Disorders such as anxiety, depression, and excessive stress can make life more complex and harder to manage.
It is essential to recognize when it's time to seek help, as this represents the first step towards improving our mental well-being.

In my sessions, I apply the principles of the cognitive-behavioral approach, alongside specific techniques to respond promptly to symptoms.
"Depending on the needs, I integrate relaxation techniques, strategies derived from coaching, and principles of psychological counseling into the process, creating a personalized intervention that helps the individual regain their inner balance.

ADOLESCENT
AREAS OF INTERVENTION AND ISSUES TREATED

Adolescence is, by definition, a transitional phase between childhood and adulthood, characterized by instability and continuous evolution.
During this period, the adolescent seeks to break away from childhood, imagining and building their own way of being an adult.
This process involves a gradual shift from a state of dependence to one of greater independence and autonomy, often moving from a strong connection with the family group to a greater search for belonging within the peer group.
Adolescence is a complex period, marked by emotional and psychological fluctuations due to physiological, biological, psychological, and social changes.
Studies indicate that young people may be reluctant to engage in psychological treatments compared to adults. Therefore, it is essential to adopt effective methods that facilitate building rapport with adolescents.
The Therapeutic Alliance with the Adolescent
Approaching the adolescent is a crucial moment in the relationship, and there are useful strategies to engage young people during this delicate phase. I have observed that an intervention within the area of Counseling fits well with the relational needs of youth. Building a climate of trust and mutual respect is essential to facilitate the adolescent’s openness and commitment to the therapeutic process.
Furthermore, a combined approach with cognitive-behavioral methodology, which focuses on understanding and modifying dysfunctional thoughts and behaviors through practical techniques, has proven to be useful.
This combination of psychological counseling and interventions based on cognitive-behavioral therapy provides adolescents with valuable tools to face daily challenges and support their transformation into young adults.

CHILDREN
AND ISSUES TREATED
Children, like adults, can face a range of difficulties during the growth process.
Behavioral problems may arise (such as hyperactivity, bullying, etc.), or they may develop particular personality traits (such as bullying behavior or excessive shyness), as well as sleep disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, learning problems, or Neurodevelopmental Disorders (such as ADHD and Learning Disorders) that may cause concern for parents and schools.
THE THERAPEUTIC ALLIANCE WITH CHILDREN: PLAY AND DRAWING
Play and drawing represent, especially for younger children, the primary method of communication. Since they have not yet fully developed verbal skills, children use these expressive forms to communicate what they cannot express in words.
Through play and drawing, children can symbolically shape experiences and feelings that they are not yet fully aware of or cannot verbalize.
In my sessions, I actively use games and artistic activities, allowing children to symbolically give form to experiences and feelings that they are not yet fully aware of or cannot express verbally.
